Mrs. Ewbank
    Meredith Ewbank, M.Ed.
    AIG Specialist
    Welcome! Bienvenido! Welkom! Willkomen!
Use the navigation to the left to find important dates, the AIG class schedule, AIG information, and more!
I am excited to be a part of the South Graham and North Graham Elementary school communities for the 2018-2019 school year! This is my tenth year teaching in ABSS. I have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade at Smith Elementary in Burlington as well as 7th grade math and advanced math at Southern Middle. This is my fourth year teaching AIG at South Graham and North Graham Elementary Schools.
I am looking forward to a great year, and as my 7th graders always said, "be ready for your brain to hurt!"

    3rd Grade Cognitive Abilities Testing

I will teach short, weekly lessons on critical thinking skills and Cognitive Abilities test question types in each 3rd grade classroom during the first nine weeks. Cognitive Abilities aptitude testing will take place the week of October 8th for all 3rd grade students. This test will be used to help in identifying students for possible AIG testing in the spring.

  • AIG Referrals

If you would like to refer your student for AIG testing, a written request should be made to Principal Elizabeth Stamper (SGE) or Principal Nancy Cothren (NGE) by Thanksgiving break. In January, referrals will be considered by the AIG committee and current data will be used to determine whether or not testing is appropriate. You will be notified in January or February of the committee's decision.
