I am elated to have this valuable opportunity to join the Broadview Middle School family in the capacity of Principal. I am formerly an Eastern North Carolinian, residing in the city of Greenville, NC.
My post-secondary education was completed at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. I served as an Assistant Principal at Walter M. Williams High School and the Guilford County Schools district as an Exceptional Children’s Teacher and English/Language Arts Teacher.
I strongly believe that all students should be provided with a learning environment that is conducive to learning and one in which students are provided with rigorous instruction that is student-centered, data driven, engaging, and infuses global relevance. Furthermore, I believe that it is essential to set high expectations and to be consistent!
I look forward to being a part of expanding the framework of excellence at Broadview Middle School and I endeavor to serve with tenacity to promote, empower, and make an impact in the lives of our staff, students, parents, and community.
Mr. Jason Slagle
Hello Bobcats! I am very excited to join Broadview Middle as an Assistant Principal this year!
I have been serving in education for the last 15 years. I have had the pleasure to serve as a middle school teacher in North Carolina teaching Math and Social Studies for 13 of my 15 years,
with the last four of those years in the Alamance-Burlington School System. I have a Master’s
Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Post-Master’s in School Administration from UNCG.
My whole family is a part of ABSS - my wife, Casandra, teachers 7th grade Science and my
children, Ethan and Emma, are in 2nd grade and Kindergarten this year.
My goal as Assistant Principal is to support and serve our students, teachers, parents, and community to provide a learning opportunity that is second-to- none. If there is anything I can do to better serve you,
please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you all and GO BOBCATS!!
