TMS Administration
Meet Ms. Saunders-Rivera
I earned a BA in Education from UNC at Chapel Hill in 1997 and my Master’s of Ed from Elon in 2004. I earned my National Boards Certification in Middle Grades Language Arts in 2006. I earned acceptance into the highly-competetive PTLA program through
UNC-G and graduated with certification in Administration in 2016. This is my 25th year in Education. I taught in Winston Salem and in Chatham County before coming to ABSS in 2002, as a 7th grade ELA/Social Studies teacher at Turrentine Middle School. I taught there for two years before transferring to Southern Middle School and teaching ELA for 7 years. I then became a full-time principal intern at Williams High School for a year and then became an AP of Graham High School for three years. I have been principal of
A-O since 2016.
