Welcome to the 2019-2020 School Year!

Hello!!

Welcome to FIRST GRADE! I am so excited to have your student in my class for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year! 

This is my 2nd year teaching at Grove Park, but my 3rd year teaching first grade! I am currently living in Pittsboro with my husband Brandon, we are moving to Snow Camp in the Spring. We have two dogs, Diamond and Roxie, who are Black and Tan Coonhounds.  Some things I like to do outside of the classroom are hiking, swimming, spending time with friends and family, and exploring our amazing state! I graduated from Western Carolina University with a BS in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math. I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree at Western Carolina with the intent to graduate in Spring of 2021. One of my favorite places to be is in the mountains that will always hold a special piece of my heart!
