Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! We are excited to welcome back all students and to engage with each student in the teaching and learning process.
This is my 27th year in education and my 6th year as Woodlawn's principal.  I have previously served as a high school counselor, high school assistant principal and middle school assistant principal.  I am originally from the Syracuse, NY area but I have lived in NC since 1988 and I am proud to call Alamance County my home.
I attended Saint Lawrence University for my bachelor's degree and received my Master's in School Counseling and my Master's in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
I am confident that our school community will overcome every hurdle placed in front of us this year as COVID still affects all of us.

It is always a great day to be an Eagle! I look forward to each opportunity to work with the students and families of Woodlawn Middle School. As a former student of Woodlawn, a graduate of Eastern Alamance, and a former teacher at Woodlawn, I am honored to return to the Eagle Community as Assistant Principal. I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development, Masters in Education-Special Education, and Masters of School Administration.

My journey in education includes experiences in K-12 classrooms as instructional support, a special education teacher, and district support for students with disabilities. I also served as an Assistant Principal in K-5 and K-8 settings. These opportunities will allow me to join the established success at Woodlawn and support continued growth. Go EAGLES!
