As we work to finalize the Plan B recommendation for the ABSS Board of Education, we want you to be aware of the updates we’ve made since meeting with and hearing from various stakeholders. Also, please know that we are prepared to adjust our plan based upon the presence of COVID-19 in our community.
In collaboration with families, teachers, staff, community members, and the Alamance County Health Department, ABSS will be seeking the Board of Education’s approval on a revised Plan B. The revised recommendation includes an AA/all remote/BB weekly rotation as well as amended start and end times to accommodate transporting students at reduced capacity. Furthermore, it is recommended that high school students remain 100% remote for the remainder of the first semester.

Both students that are learning in person and students that are doing remote learning will be assigned to either Cohort A or Cohort B.
You can view your child's progress by accessing it through the Powerschool Parent Portal. You will need to set up your Powerschool parent portal account . If you should need help in setting up your account please contact the school and we will walk you through those steps.
