Get to Know Me!
My name is Jennifer Lombard and I was born and raised in Boone, NC. When I was in middle school, I loved to play outside and talk on the phone (long before cell phones and texting existed. After graduating from Watagua High School in 1994, I spent 6 months in Ecuador as an exchange student. Then I attended UNC-Asheville from 1995-1999. I majored in Spanish and minored in International Studies. I worked for several years before finding out that I wanted to be a school counselor. I worked and studied school counseling at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) from 2005-2007 and earned my Master's Degree in School Counseling. I earned a Post Masters Certificate in Advanced School Counseling at UNC-Greensboro in 2013. I love learning and I love middle school students! Middle School is an exciting and challenging time for students and I enjoy assisting students and parents as they navigate these years.
