Graham Middle School Cell Phone Policy
Our goal at Graham Middle School is to ensure all students are focused and on task in order to achieve their highest level of success. Cell phones have become a tool that has allowed our youth to enjoy many social media apps, but unfortunately the cell phones have led to numerous disruptions and distractions at Graham Middle School. Started at the beginning of the 2019-20 school year, Graham Middle School students will not be allowed to use cell phones during the school day. All cell phones must be kept in the student’s book bag or purse turned off.
If students need to use the phone during the school day to contact a parent/guardian, they may use the phone in the front office with permission from their teachers. If parents needs to leave a message with a student during the school day, they will need to call the school prior to 2:45pm at 336-570-6460. You may also refer to ABSS’ Student Code of Conduct Rule 8: Electronic Devices. Graham middle school is not responsible for cell phones, including loss or damage.
We know this is a big adjustment, but we appreciate your cooperation and support in advance.
