8/30/20

I want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we continue to work through technology issues.  Hopefully, things will start settling down and we can continue to move forward.  We still do not have any additional hotspots, but I am hopeful that we should have them at the beginning of the week.  We will begin calling families on the waitlist as soon as they arrive.

There will be no Success Academy this week.  The next Success Academy will be on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.  Don't forget that Monday, September 7, 2020, is a Holiday so no one will be on Zoom.

I need everyone to please be aware of inappropriate things in the background of your picture on zoom as well as inappropriate language or comments during zoom meetings.  Students can be disciplined for these things just like we were in school.

Students must log on to their Zoom meetings to be marked present for that class period.  This is for our records.  Students make sure that you are completing assignments on time in order to receive full credit.  Please continue to email and talk to your teachers early and often.

Thanks for your continued support.

8/15/20

We are so excited for the first day of school on Monday. The remote learning plan is on the website (in the middle in red). Please review it as changes have been made to it.  If you do not have computers, please come to school during our work hours of 8:00 to 4:00.  If you still need a hotspot, we are waiting on additional hotspots.  We are contacting parents by phone as we get them.

If your student still has holes in their schedule, please email your counselor or administration.

Here are the expectations for students.  You should be on each class's zoom meeting on time, your camera needs to be on at all times during the class period, the meetings will be recorded, and attendance will be taken daily.  Our homeroom this year is called Success Academy.  Students are expected to attend homeroom this week to receive some important information concerning expectations and our new intervention time.  Attendance will be taken in homeroom as well.  If your student is sick and unable to attend, please call the office so we can make it excused. Students should not be working during the school day, they should be attending classes.

Students should check their school emails as well as their canvas courses on Monday morning for links to their zoom meetings. If your student does not know how to access their canvas please see our website for a how to video as well as written instructions.
