Southern High Counseling Department named a Recognized ASCA Model Program

Southern Alamance High School's school counseling department was just named as a Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) by the American School Counseling Association (ASCA).  This distinguished award is conferred only after school counselors complete a detailed rigorous application substantiating their efforts to develop and implement comprehensive, data-driven, accountable school counseling programs guided by their schools’ specific, identified needs.   Southern Alamance High School is ABSS's first school to earn this national award.  They will be acknowledged during ASCA's RAMP Recognition Dinner in Los Angeles, CA on July 16, 2018.
