7/1/19 Turrentine Spanish honors

Turrentine Middle School eighth-graders Alina Merchant and Claire Wagner earned bronze medals, scoring at or above the 80th percentile in the nation.

Turrentine Middle School eighth-graders Alina Merchant and Claire Wagner earned bronze medals, scoring at or above the 80th percentile in the nation.

Turrentine Middle School eighth-grader Molly Hunt earned a national gold medal and scored in the 98th percentile. Her top national ranking also earned fifth place in North Carolina.

World Language students at Turrentine Middle School earned top honors on the 2019 National Spanish Examination sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. Turrentine world language students, under Spanish teacher Megan Webb, have a six-year history of high achievement on the national exams.
