Teacher wins ‘Ag in the Classroom’ grant

They were present when Tripp was honored for winning the “Ag in the Classroom” grant for her idea of a school strawberry garden and a cart in which students can grow plants. Ag in the Classroom, “Going Local,” provides grants valued up to $500 for teachers who integrate agriculture lessons into classroom studies.
