Safe Kids presents awards to community volunteers

   Safe Kids Alamance recently held its annual meeting and awards breakfast. Awards were presented to community participants for their involvement with Safe Kids initiatives during 2013. They are, from left, Kelley Kimrey, Safe Kids Alamance Coordinator; Christian Hairston, Principal at Andrews Elementary School-Walk This Way; Officer Chris Verdeck, Burlington Police Department and Officer Tiffany Barnes, Graham Police Department-Operation Medicine Drop; Greg Squeri, Fed Ex-Walk This Way; Roger Barefoot, Trinity Worship Center; Dawn Walker, Alamance Children’s Museum-Operation Medicine Drop; and Carol Plew, Safe Kids Alamance Chair.
