THE STUDENT COUNCIL at Southern Alamance High School helped with a project called “Change for the Cure” in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During the month of October, students cleaned out their cars and pockets and used leftover lunch money to donate to the project, along with collecting change at sports events.
Students raised more than $527, which was donated to the Pink Ribbon Fund at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
