Trey Shelton Miles , a senior at Williams High School, has received the second annual scholarship awarded by the 1963 graduating class of Central High School, Graham. The $500 scholarship will help Miles attend UNC Chapel Hill in the fall, where he plans to major in exercise science. Central High School became Graham High School in 1968. The Central High School Club ’63 established the scholarship to help keep its history alive while supporting aspiring youth of Alamance County. The scholarship is open to any student graduating from one of the six Alamance-Burlington School System high schools. In awarding the scholarship, the group cited Miles’ sincerity and numerous activities dedicated to his community and school.
