ABSS students attended the National Maker Faire in Washington, D.C. this week along with Burlington Mayor Ian Baltutis. The faire included displays from the B.E. Jordan Elementary Makerspace, the Graham Middle School Innovation Lab Makerspace and the Blessed Sacrament School of Burlington Makerspace. These schools were among 12 organizations from Alamance County to attend the National Faire. President Obama declared June 17 to June 23, 2016 a “National Week of Making” to help celebrate and expand the Maker Movement across the nation.
