Week 3: Settling In

Posted by William Benson on 4/3/2020

It is hard to believe we are wrapping out our third week of learning at home.  I know it has not been easy. However, we are seeing and hearing lots of positive stories from teachers, parents and students who continue to gain confidence and work creatively to adapt to this new style of learning.  Together, we have learned and grown a lot, but we have more work ahead.

As our final 9 weeks of the school year begin next week, I want to assure everyone that our focus will remain on providing the best educational experience and support possible for our students. We are committed to providing quality instruction that our students deserve and need in order to stay on track for mastering each grade level lesson to be ready for next school year.  It’s our job and our passion, whether our students are learning in our classrooms or learning at home.

We still have a lot of learning left before the school year ends.

To our teachers and other education professionals, I say thank you for your willingness to be creative in delivering meaningful lessons and for your commitment to stay connected with your students. Our schools are doing an amazing job. I believe this experience is making us more connected and stronger than ever.

We will be successful together.
