Cummings NHS creates Little Free Library By Jessica Williams, The Times-News 9/11/18 Reprinted with permission.
Cummings High School now has a Little Free Library thanks to current and former National Honor Society members who installed it. The small cabinet-type box full of books is part of a nationwide program in which students and community members can borrow new books to read in exchange for leaving books they’ve already read for others. Three out of four people report that they read a book they normally wouldn’t have thanks to Little Free Library, according to the nonprofit’s website. Cummings’ Little Free Library is behind the auditorium and will soon be listed in the national registry at littlefreelibrary.org.
