Turrentine Middle School has been celebrating National Bullying Prevention Month with schoolwide activities such as “Unity Day,” when students and staff were encouraged to wear orange to bring awareness to the fight against bullying. With the help of art teacher Emily Brinskelle, the school also created and hung an orange banner that read “No Place for Hate,” and had students sign an anti-bullying pledge promising that they would stand up to bullying and not participate in it.
