Pleasant Grove Little Library honors Lynnetta Burton

Pleasant Grove Elementary School kindergarten teacher Dominique Martin and her father Patrick Preudhomme, a former teacher at Eastern Alamance High School, built a Little Free Lending Library for the Pleasant Grove Community. The Lending Library is called “Burton’s Book Barn”, in honor of Lynnetta Burton (pictured above), who is retiring at the end of this school year after 38 years at Pleasant Grove Elementary. Families can come by at any time to pick out some books to read at home. The library will be stocked throughout the summer to allow students and their families in Pleasant Grove to continue reading outside of school.
