Husky Families,
I want to take a moment to recognize and honor all the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures in our school community. Your love, support, and dedication help shape the hearts and minds of our students every single day. Wishing you a beautiful and restful Mother’s Day!
I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our Boosters and our Husky families for the outpouring of support during Teacher Appreciation Week last week. From the thoughtful treats and meals to the kind words and gestures, our staff felt truly celebrated and valued. Your generosity and partnership mean so much, and we are grateful to be part of such a supportive school community.
Please take a moment to review the important updates below. As always, thank you for your support in making Hawfields a great place to work and learn!

Dangerous Social Media Challenge Involving Chromebooks: ABSS is aware of a troubling trend across several schools where students are intentionally mishandling or damaging their school-issued Chromebooks, often influenced by social media. This behavior is extremely dangerous and can result in devices emitting smoke, catching fire, damaging outlets, and potentially causing serious injury. Please talk with your child about the dangers of these behaviors and the serious consequences of damaging school property. HMS will follow the Technology Acceptable Use Policy and Student Code of Conduct for any incidents that occur. Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping our students safe.
