Husky Families,
As we near the end of the school year and approach EOG testing, it's more important than ever that our students remain focused, engaged, and committed to finishing strong. The work they put in over the next two weeks will set the tone for a successful end of the year. Let’s continue to work together to support our students through these final weeks!
Please also note that Monday, May 26th is Memorial Day. There will be no school for students or staff as we take time to honor and remember the men and women who have given their lives in service to our country.
Please take a moment to review the important updates below. As always, thank you for your support in making Hawfields a great place to work and learn!
Laptop & Charger Collection – Wednesday, May 21st: As we prepare for EOG testing, all students are required to return their Chromebook and charger to their homeroom teacher on Wednesday, May 21st. These items must be turned in before testing begins. Please ensure your student brings both the laptop and the charger to school on this day. Students will be held responsible for the cost of any lost or damaged items, per district policy. It is extremely important that all devices are returned so we can properly prepare for EOG testing. Your support in helping us collect 100% of devices on time is greatly appreciated.
Unpaid Fees: As we prepare to celebrate our students at upcoming end-of-year events, including award ceremonies, the 8th grade breakfast, and promotion, please be aware that all outstanding fees must be paid for students to participate in these activities.
Fees that must be cleared include:
Lunch debt – Families can view and pay any outstanding balance using this link: Pay Lunch Debt
Technology fees – Students who owe for lost or damaged Chromebooks or chargers should have received an invoice. If you are unsure whether your student has a balance, please contact the front office. Technology fees can also be paid online at: Pay Technology Fees
We appreciate your prompt attention to these matters so that all students can fully enjoy their end-of-year celebrations.
