• Parents opt-in to photograph release. This can be accomplished through PowerSchool or by completing the student information card sent home in the parent/teacher communication folder.

• Questions regarding classroom curriculum should be directed in writing to Principal Robert Dail [robert_dail@abss.k12.nc.us] and Assistant Principal Imani Small [imani_small@abss.k12.nc.us]. Should a parent choose to call the school, Mr. Dail or Ms. Small will send a summary email to the inquiring parent to document the conversation.

• Grade-level teams establish and communicate procedures to parents regarding their classroom libraries. Inquiries regarding a classroom library should be directed to the classroom teacher via email.

• Students have access to three talented student support personnel.
