My name is April Marshall, and this is my first year as a school counselor in ABSS, though I have over 12 years' experience in secondary and higher education.  Prior to beginning my journey at CTEC, I was a counselor for GCS, a Leadership Development Coach at UNC Greensboro, a high school English teacher at Southern Alamance, and a 1N4 in the US Air Force!  Originally from southern California, I have called Alamance County and North Carolina home for the last 15 years.  I am a first-generation college student, mother of three amazing kids, and a Nationally Certified Counselor.

I am here to help all CTEC students stretch their growing edges, explore their interests, strengthen their skills and abilities, and recognize their potential as future leaders who are capable of being the change-makers the world needs!
