Freshman trumpet student, Tristan Garrett, got some great news this week!
He has earned a spot with Macy’s Great American Marching Band! Tristan will have the honor of joining with students from every state in America as a member of this elite marching band that will perform in the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York. He will not only be representing Eastern Alamance but North Carolina as well!
Tristan auditioned for and earned placement in the 2024 Macy’s Great American Marching Band….one of just over 200 students selected from all across the United States!!
Tristan will rehearse and perform under the direction of Dr. Rick Good, Director of Bands at Auburn University and attend various leadership seminars during his time in NYC. We’re excited to see him step off as part of this Thanksgiving Day tradition…congratulations Tristan!!Way to go Tristan!
