Eastern Alamance is excited to announce the hiring of Mitch Mitchener as its Head Football Coach.
Coach Mitchener brings a wealth of coaching experience to Eastern Alamance High School, including coaching positions at Topsail High School, Western Alamance, and Eastern Guilford. Notably, Coach Mitchener was the Defensive Coordinator at Eastern Guilford for their fourth-round appearance in the NCHSAA Class 3A West Playoffs in 2022.
Mitchener, a native of Alamance County, is a graduate of Western Alamance and holds a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University where he was a member of the football team from 2006 to 2009.
