ABSS Rezoning Information and Timeline:
ABSS is launching a district-wide attendance zone planning process focused on balanced enrollment, efficient transportation, and the long-term stability of our schools. The district as evolved over time as some schools are over capacity and others have available space. New housing continues to shift the population. This process will help the district plan responsibly for the future. No maps have been created yet. The district is gathering information from staff, families, and the community. You can participate by attending a Community Voice session. January 22nd at Williams High School or January 28th at Southeast High School. Both events will begin at 6:00. After these sessions conclude consultants will use all available information to create the first draft of maps. These will be shared publicly during solution sessions on March 3rd and 4th. You can find more detailed information on the student assignment webpage.
Second Semester Open House:
We will hold an open house for the second semester on February 5th from 5:00-6:00. This is a great time for families to meet their students’ second semester teachers. At 6:15, various groups will be in the gym for families to talk to about registration and opportunities for next year. We look forward to seeing you then!
