Spring Exam Schedule:
We are 3 days away from the start of Spring Exams. Student’s 4th quarter grade will count as 40% of their final grade and their final exam will count as 20%. Take a moment to review the Spring Exam Schedule so that you know the days and times you need to be on campus. Testing locations will be shared with students/families later this week. If you have any questions, please ask your teacher or Mr. Hemminger at william_hemminger@abss.k12.nc.us.
Green & Gold’n Globes:
We will have a year-end athletics banquet for ALL student-athletes, coaches, and parents. on May 28th! The event will start with refreshments in the gymnasium at 5:30 pm followed by an awards ceremony in the auditorium. This is a time for us to celebrate all that our EA sports teams have accomplished. Individual awards will be given for each team in addition to several school wide awards and we will recognize all conference athletes, sportsmanship winners, and 3 sport athletes. Show up in your dress attire, walk the red carpet and let’s celebrate! Make plans now to attend!
Senior Awards:
This Friday, we will continue to celebrate our seniors with our senior awards ceremony. The celebration will begin at 9:30 am. Auditorium doors will open at 9:00 am. All seniors should meet in the gym at 9:00. Please wear your graduation gown (no cap) and don’t forget your stole.
Senior Stole Ceremony:
Seniors, the Stole Ceremony is an opportunity for you to invite one person who has helped you get to graduation (a parent, other family member, teacher, coach, etc.) to participate in this portion of awards day with you. Take a moment to figure out who that person is and invite them to join you. They will walk in with you and participate in this memorable moment with you.
Transportation for 26-27 School Year:
If your student requires bus transportation next year, you must complete the request form before June 5, 2026. All current and new bus riders have to complete the form. If you do not complete this form before June 5, 2026, you will not be guaranteed transportation when school begins in August.
