This is Principal Suzanne Simpson with your weekly updates. This is a big week in EAgle Nation as students take their EOC and CTE exams and we end the week with the Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony on Friday evening!
EOC/CTE Testing:
Tomorrow we will begin EOC and CTE testing. You have worked hard all semester and we can’t wait to see how you do on your exams! Use this link to ensure that you know where to go each day for testing. Students who do not have exams, will be in the cafeteria. Students are not allowed to check out during the testing session. We anticipate that the testing will conclude around 1:00 each day. Once all testing is complete, we will run bus routes and dismiss students.
Seniors Information:
Graduation practice will be held on Wednesday. You MUST be in attendance at Graduation Practice to participate in graduation. Please plan on meeting at Eastside Baptist Church (where Senior Breakfast was held/333 Super Club Road) no later than 9:30am. If you need bus transportation, please meet at the bus lot no later than 9:10. At practice we will go over important details about graduation, practice our line up and walking in/seating, and share the logistics of graduation. Practice will be followed by the picnic/lunch (FREE). This is a time for you to eat, play games and hang out with each other. Then you can head back to EA's campus to pick up your graduation tickets between 1-3pm. All fees, fines, materials, chromebooks, chargers, books, etc. MUST be turned in before you can receive your tickets. Ticket distribution will take place in M118 (next to the front office). Tickets can only be given to a graduate.
Transportation for 26-27 School Year:
If your student requires bus transportation next year, you must complete the request form before June 5, 2026. All current and new bus riders have to complete the form. If you do not complete this form before June 5, 2026, you will not be guaranteed transportation when school begins in August.

Summer School Registration:
Did you fail a core course with a score between 45%-59%? Are you a senior that needs to recover a course? You're invited to summer school! This year, summer school will be held for three weeks, Monday through Thursday, June 8th-25th, from 9 AM to 12 PM. Once you complete the course(s) you need to recover, you will be finished and do not need to attend for the remainder of days. By attending summer school, you have an opportunity to earn credits that will put you back on-track for graduation. Unfortunately there is no transportation or lunch provided. Please complete this form so that we know you are coming!
I have truly enjoyed being your principal this school year. I wish you a fantastic summer and we will see you again in August!
