At Haw River Elementary, we believe in celebrating our exceptional faculty, staff, and students. One way in which we do this is through our Lion Cub Leaders of the Month program. During our monthly faculty meetings, our administration recognizes one of their teachers/staff and students with the honor of being Haw River's Lion Cub Leader of the Month. Through a partnership with various community partners, our recognized staff member receives a gift card. Recognized students receive a trip to the PAW Mart Cart, where they choose a prize of their choice
