📸 Picture Day – Monday, October 6
Dress your best and bring your brightest smiles! All students will take individual pictures on Monday. Order forms were sent home last week—please return them with your child or complete your order online.
🎉 Hispanic Heritage Month Spirit Week
We’re celebrating the start of Hispanic Heritage Month with a fun Spirit Week! Each day will highlight a different theme to recognize and honor the rich cultures and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.
🚫 No School – Thursday, October 9
Reminder: There will be no school on Thursday for a teacher workday. We hope everyone enjoys the extra day to rest and recharge!

As part of our Capturing Kids’ Hearts journey, our focus this month is on moving from Empathy to Self-Direction. We’ve been guiding students to not only understand and care about others’ feelings, but also to take ownership of their own choices, learning, and actions. When students grow in self-direction, they begin to demonstrate leadership, responsibility, and the confidence to make positive decisions—both in and out of the classroom.

Cuando los estudiantes desarrollan su autodirección, comienzan a demostrar liderazgo, responsabilidad y la confianza para tomar decisiones positivas, tanto dentro como fuera del aula.
