The district is excited to announce that Jena Hazelwood will be returning to South Graham Elementary School as the new Assistant Principal.
Ms. Hazelwood brings a wealth of experience and deep community connections to this role. She previously served at South Graham Elementary as Curriculum and Data Specialist, Test Coordinator, Media Specialist, Technology Facilitator, and Second Grade English Teacher for the Spanish Immersion Program. In these positions, she led professional learning communities, analyzed data to drive instruction, and collaborated with staff to enhance student achievement.
She holds degrees from UNC Greensboro including a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Master's in Library and Information Studies, and Post Master's Licensure in Educational Leadership.
