My name is Sonya Pemberton-Rush and I currently serve as the CTE Special Populations Coordinator for ABSS. I was previously Special Populations Coordinator for Guilford County Schools after serving as a lateral entry Business Education Teacher, since 2012. I earned my graduate degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Master of Arts in Teaching Business Education and Master of School Administration. I have experience assisting with district CTE Professional Development for teachers and College and Career Managers. It is my pleasure to join the ABSS CTE team.

My name is Lindsey Criss and I currently serve as the CTE Curriculum and Instructional Management Coordinator for ABSS. I was previously a district Special Populations Coordinator after serving Hugh M. Cummings High School as a Career Development Coordinator and lateral entry Business Education Teacher, working within ABSS since 2007. I hold a Master of Business Education Degree from North Carolina A & T State University. My Bachelor Degree in Sports Management is from Gardner-Webb University and my Associate Degree in Business Administration is from Cleveland Community College in Shelby, NC. I completed the North Carolina CTE Administrative Internship in 2017 and assist with district-wide CTE programmatic needs as requested. It is my pleasure to serve ABSS CTE!

My name is YoLonda Moody, and since January 2018, I serve as CTE Program Support. I am an NC State graduate with a BS in Agricultural Education. I also hold licensures in Career Exploration, Disadvantage and Handicap, Business Education, Middle School Math and Science along with a Computer Education Endorsement. Prior to retirement, my years of experience were spent teaching Career Exploration and Business Computer Technology at the middle school level and a few years teaching eighth grade math and Math 1.  I am delighted to be part of the ABSS-CTE family and I enjoy supporting CTE teachers and students in any way that I can.  I enjoy working with teachers and administrators in building bridges for our students, which enable them to transfer and apply their classroom knowledge and skills to the workforce to become successful citizens and employers in our diverse society.

My name is Lindsay Chatham and I began working with Alamance Burlington Schools in February of 2018.  I obtained my Certificate in Financial Accounting in 2015 from Alamance Community College.   My father, mother and sister have been a part of ABSS for a combined total of 50 years.  My father was an Auto Mechanic teacher.  My family history along with my experience in working in the accounting field made CTE a perfect fit.  I am proud to be a part of the CTE family.

My name is Jacob Wade and I have been the CTE Lead Computer Technician for the last five years. I began working with Alamance Burlington Schools in the Fall of 2011 as a Computer Technician with the Technology Department. I have lived in Alamance County my entire life, and am an alumni of Southern Alamance High School. I have earned my Dell, HP and Lenovo Certifications. Working in CTE allows me to interact with a variety of technologies which keeps my job refreshing.
