He holds degrees from North Carolina State University, Appalachian State University, and a doctorate from Wingate University. Named Sandhills Regional Superintendent of the Year in 2021 and 2022, Dr. Fleming is active in several educational organizations, including the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching.
