Pursuant to N.C. Stat. Sec. 143-128.1A, Alamance-Burlington School System (Referred hereafter as “ABSS”) is seeking proposals from qualified design-builders to perform design, planning, permitting (if required), and HVAC replacements at Graham High School. The intent of this RFQ is to select a design-builder based upon qualifications and cost to provide the required HVAC Upgrades. Please take note that Samet Corporation is currently performing some HVAC upgrades on the Graham High School campus as part of a previously awarded design-build contact, and the selected design-builder will need to coordinate this work with the work being performed by Samet Corporation.
Design-builders wishing to submit for consideration should follow the guidelines established herein. Five copies of the design-builder’s Statement of Qualifications responding to the items in the attached Exhibit A, along with supporting documentation, should be submitted to Alamance-Burlington School System, 1712 Vaughn Road, Burlington, NC 27217 by 2:00 p.m. on July 9, 2025. The envelope should clearly reference “Design-Build RFQ.” An electronic copy of the response to the Statement of Qualifications shall be sent to Designbuild@abss.k12.nc.us. Statements of Qualifications received after the above deadline will not be considered. Questions regarding this RFQ should be submitted in writing to Designbuild@abss.k12.nc.us.
