NC Farm Bureau awards nearly $10,000 to several ABSS students and a teacher at Walter Williams High School.
Western Alamance recipients were Jackson Miles and Corinna Workman. Southern Alamance recipients included Chase Williard and Carter Tumey.
John Osborne, teacher at Williams High School was awarded the Ag in the Classroom Grant for the upcoming school year.
Alamance County Farm Bureau President Vaughn Willoughby commented, “Alamance County Farm Bureau is keenly aware of the need to fill the ever changing field of agriculture with talented and bright young people. Our scholarships are there to help these students continue to pursue excellence and knowledge in their chosen fields of study."
