The PTO is sponsoring a Duty-Free Teacher Winter Holiday lunch on Wednesday, December 14th. The PTO and volunteers will assist with getting the children their lunch, getting seated, overseeing the classes, getting the tables cleaned up and getting the classes in line to leave. We know it is cold and messy out so let Garrett “serve” you and your family dinner tonight at the McDonalds on Mebane-Oaks Road.
We invite all of our Gator families who love and support Garrett to head to McDonald's for dinner where 15% of the sales will go to the school.
Teachers will be working hard to raise this money under the Golden Arches. Who will be there….come out and see!!!

It is time for our 1st McTeacher night of the 2022-2023 school year. Our teachers and PTO will be “working” to serve you at McDonald's on Tuesday, November 15th between 5:00-8:00pm. Please plan to eat dinner with the staff of Garrett serving you your meals. We will have representatives working at the registers, in the dining room, and at both windows of the drive thru. We encourage you to come out and help support Garrett, as a portion of the proceeds goes to Garrett from the sales at the restaurant between 5:00-8:00 at the McDonald's on Mebane Oaks Road. We can’t wait to see everyone there!!
Our PTO is excited to bring back our annual Turkey Shoot Out. All students will participate in the annual Turkey shoot out basketball free throw competition either November 21st or 22nd during the school day. The boy and girl winner from each grade level will WIN a turkey!
Our PTO is still currently looking for Turkey donations for the winners. If you are interested in donating a Turkey (that feed 4) please contact the PTO at gatorspto@gmail.com as soon as possible. They are asking for all turkeys to be at school on November 17th.
We are excited to have all students participate in this fun Turkey tradition again this year with the help of you.

Gator Parents and Guardians-
Our PTO general meeting is Monday, November 14th beginning at 5:30. We encourage and invite everyone to attend if possible. The meeting will be held in the media center for those who plan to attend. There will also be a zoom link for those that cannot participate in person. Please plan to join the PTO Monday to learn more about all the exciting events that they have planned and additional ways to get involved. Our PTO hopes that you will attend either in person or on zoom on Monday, November 14th.

PLEASE bring them to Garrett and drop them off in our Costume donation bucket in the front office. The costumes will help our new theater program and would be greatly appreciated. **Please make sure these are appropriate costumes for our children to use and wear.**
