The Alamance-Burlington School System Board of Education announced the appointment of Elicia Limer as the new principal of B. Everett Jordan Elementary School. The decision was officially approved during the Board's meeting on April 28, 2025.
Mrs. Limer currently serves as the Assistant Principal of E.M. Holt Elementary School, where she has been a vital part of the community for more than a decade, serving in that role since 2014. Throughout her career, including leadership roles in both Alamance-Burlington and Rockingham County Schools, she has stood out as a relationship-driven educator who has led with integrity, supported staff through instructional coaching and data-driven decision-making, and played a critical role in advancing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), professional learning communities (PLCs), and student-centered programming.
As a wife and mother of three children who have all attended ABSS schools—including a rising college senior, a high school junior, and an elementary school student—she brings both professional expertise and personal investment in our school system's success.
"It is a privilege and an honor to join the B. Everett Jordan community," said Mrs. Limer. "I am committed to partnering with our students, staff, and families to create a positive, inclusive culture where every member of our school community feels valued and empowered to succeed."
Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Limer to B. Everett Jordan Elementary School as she begins this exciting new chapter of leadership and service.
