ABSS is excited to announce that Dr. Samantha Escobar will be joining B. Everett Jordan Elementary as an Assistant Principal. Dr. Escobar brings a rich educational background and a deep personal connection to Alamance County. She attended South Graham Elementary and Broadview Middle School, making her return to our district feel like a true homecoming.
Dr. Escobar has intentionally built her extensive educational background to support teachers in diverse ways. Her professional experience includes roles at Winston-Salem/Forsyth, Onslow, Craven, and Guilford County Schools.
Dr. Escobar holds a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with Distinction from Liberty University. She also pursued School Administration at Gardner Webb University, and obtained her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from UNC-Greensboro, following her B.S. in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude, from Campbell University.
Sharing her philosophy, Dr. Escobar stated, "I strive to help lead through action, by inspiring others, fostering collaboration, and showing up with authenticity and passion. Rooted in community, I believe it truly takes a village to help every child reach their fullest potential. I am excited to be part of the BEJ community and work with Mrs. Limer and the staff to be a place that students, staff, and parents are excited to call ‘their school’.”
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Samantha Escobar as she steps into her new role at B. Everett Jordan Elementary!
