This is Principal Suzanne Simpson with your weekly updates. I hope that you each enjoy your last week of summer break. We can’t wait to see you on Monday, August 25th!
Open House:
EAHS Open House is Tuesday, August 19th from 5:00-7:00. It is floating. If needed students can pick up a copy of their schedule in the front entrance or they can use Infinite Campus to view it and enter campus via any of the large gray doors. There will be students and staff around campus to help guide you to the right locations. We hope to see you there!
Back To School Forms:
Parents, have you created your Infinite Campus Account? If not, check your email. More information about Infinite Campus as well as a link to download the app can be found here.
Student Schedules:
Schedules will be available for students and parents to view in Infinite Campus this week. Our counselors have been working throughout the summer to correct schedules, fill in holes, etc. If you have a schedule change request, please complete this form. This form must be completed by the student from their ABSS google account. DO NOT email the counselors directly. Requests that are made in this way will not be honored. Having all of the requests in one place helps to streamline the process.
Schedule changes are permitted only for the following reasons:
Holes in schedules (no assigned class period)
Juniors/Seniors w/specific graduation requirements
Earned credit in summer school or credit recovery
Erroneously placed in class already passed
Administrative decision
If you are looking to drop an AP class, you must have permission from Mrs. Simpson.
Chromebooks:
Devices will be available to new EAHS students in the media center during open house. This year, we are offering families the opportunity to purchase optional insurance for their student(s) chromebook. The cost of the optional insurance is $25. This premium is good for one instance of unintentional breakage (lost or intentional damage is not covered) and will help protect you from higher cost. You may elect when to apply your premium. Once used, the family would have the option to replace the optional insurance premium for an additional $25. Athletic Passes:
Yearly Athletic Passes are on sale now! This pass gets you into all home athletic contests for the upcoming school year. Fill out this form to get started.
Prices:
Student: $50
Individual Adult: $200
Family (2-4): $350
Family (5+): $450
Family passes are limited to individuals living in the same household.
Campus Update:
Thanks to our County Commissioners, School Board, and Central Office, we are getting new roofs on our main buildings along with updated heating and air in most buildings. We are very excited about these updates. Construction crews have been working since school got out however, not all of the work will be completed by the time that school starts. We ask for your patience as the crews continue to work to make these much needed and welcomed improvements.
Parking Passes:
It is time to purchase your parking pass. Please use this link to do so. You will need the following information to complete the form:
Your contact info (name, cell and email)
Parent/Guardian contact info (name, cell and email)
Car info (make, model, color)
Vehicle License Plate Number
Picture of your driver’s license (will need to upload)
Picture of your current registration (will need to upload)
There will no longer be a designated lot based on your grade level. You will select your parking location. Parking passes/spots will be given out on a first come first serve basis during the designated times below. You must be able to show your parking pass receipt when you come to pick your spot and pick up your pass.
All other school fees/fines must be paid in order for you to be able to purchase a parking pass.
