PCA Courses
PCA students have a rigorous schedule. Many of their high school requirements are completed in their first two years. Their fourth English and Math classes will be completed at ACC, as well as American History and many electives.
Students typically follow the schedule below:
9th Grade | Math I Honors or Elective | English I Honors | Earth & Environmental Science Honors | Health & Physical Education | Math II Honors | English II Honors | Biology Honors | World History Honors/AP World History |
10th Grade | Math III Honors | English III Honors | Civic Literacy Honors | Economics & Personal Finance Honors | Chemistry Honors | Foreign Language I/Elective | Foreign Language II/Elective | AP Psychology/Elective |
11th Grade | Students will take five classes in the fall and 5 classes in the spring towards their CCP Transfer Pathway completion. these will include ENG 111, and ENG 112 (Writing and Composition), a math and science course, as well as communication, humanities, and social science courses. | |||||||
12th Grade | Students will take 5 classes in the fall and 5 classes in the spring toward the completion of their chosen Associate's degree. These classes will include ENG 242, which is required for high school graduation. |
