8th grade teachers did a great job discussing and guiding students through the habits exhibited by highly effective teens, setting up science notebooks, and how to effectively take notes. Teachers were even pulling small groups. It's been a great day and we're not even done yet!

Good Afternoon Huskies! This is Ms. Thompson with an important message about Summer Bridge next week.
This is a reminder that Summer Bridge starts on Monday, August 7th and will end on Thursday, August 10th. Students will need to be dropped off (by car or bus) at 8:30am and staff will guide them to the cafeteria for breakfast. Students will attend classes from 9:00am - 1:00pm, which includes a 45-minute lunch. Students may bring their own lunch and a water bottle. NO other supplies are needed. Dismissal is at 1:00pm. All buses should be off the lot by 1:10pm. We have a total of 139, 6th grade students attending. A great time is going to be had by all!
When it comes to transportation, the deadline was extended to August 1st. Please use the document, in your email, to identify the corner stop your student will need to be at in order to catch the bus to HMS. If you are unsure, please drop your student off on Day #1, make sure you see me, and I will add him or her to the route for that afternoon so the driver can pick up at your stop starting Tuesday morning.
