Teacher of the Year aims to recognize and honor teachers who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and excellence in teaching. Classified Employee of the Year showcases an employee who demonstrates excellence in work performance and commitment. We are so fortunate to have both of them at Hawfields Middle!
At Hawfields, we take learning beyond classroom walls! 23 8th grade students enrolled in the Leadworthy Course, taught by Mrs. Westbrook and supported by counselor Mr. Westbrook and principal Greg Hook, spent the day on low and high ropes at Camp Weaver. Fear of heights- conquered! New heights in leadership skills and team building- scored! It was an amazing experience for these kids.
