Hello Turrentine Family,
All 8th graders are encouraged to attend ABSS's High School Options fair on Saturday, October 7th from 9am-Noon at Holly Hill Mall. Students will get to learn about all of the high school specialty programs offered throughout the district. Students will have the opportunity to learn about certifications, college credits, and other unique experiences they can have while still earning their high school diploma. ABSS has many wonderful pathways for students to explore! Learn more at this event.
All 7th graders are required to get updated vaccines - Meningococcal and TDaP. The cutoff to get these is October 10th. Students will not be able to attend school after October 10th if requirements are not met. These can be completed by their primary physician. Please contact our school nurse if you have questions.

Alamance County Health Department is holding a Vaccine Clinic tomorrow, September 20th, from 1 PM - 4 PM by appointment only. An appointment can be made by calling 336-570-6459. This will be located at the Alamance County Health Department.

Good Morning Turrentine Family!
In preparation for the start of school, we wanted to go ahead and give families who have registered their student as a car rider the opportunity to come by Turrentine Middle School and pick up your car tag. With school still scheduled to start on Tuesday, it will be important to our new dismissal process that families have the car tags ready to display for dismissal Tuesday afternoon.
If you have registered for a car tag, we have yours ready for pick up along with information regarding our new dismissal procedures! Please stop by for a quick pickup of your car tag. We have them organized and ready to hand out. You can come to the school beginning now! We will be here until 5 pm today and tomorrow between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm.
