Alamance-Burlington School System is the 15th-largest public school district in North Carolina serving nearly 23,000 students in grades Pre-K through 12th.  With 38 schools, ABSS offers exceptional educational opportunities for students including career and technical education, international baccalaureate, pre-collegiate academies, early college, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).  Our elementary schools include programs such as Leader in Me, Capturing Kids Hearts, STEAM (STEM plus the Arts), and Global Learning.  Our vision is to prepare each student for their future in an inclusive, supportive learning community while engaging and empowering them to become knowledgeable, responsible citizens.
