Last night we celebrated the Graduation of our incredible Class of 2024! 🎓 We are so very grateful for our time with you at ABEC and can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next! 🎉
It’s graduation day! 🎓 Our Seniors enjoyed lunch and a reading of The Giving Tree by Dr. Fliehman before Graduation Practice today. She then presented the book filled with well wishes from the Class of 2024 to Principal Suzanne Simpson for the impact she had in the journey of their journey. We can’t wait to be apart of your big night Class of 2024! 🎉

ABEC’s Cobra Collaborative kicked off Teacher Appreciation Week with a bang! What an honor it is to celebrate teachers this week. Our breakfast was a wonderful start to a week full of treats!
The Key Club hosted its annual “Hunger Games” canned food drive the past couple of weeks! They donated 1074 cans to S.A.F.E today! Way to go Cobras!!
Guest speaker Alex Hale is speaking today about strategic communications, media, and the importance of internships and storytelling. He was one of 12 "hotdoggers" hired to drive the wienermobile for Oscar Meyer across the country in 2019. He got his resume seen by shipping Oscar Meyer a box of salami with his branding and marketing that had his resume taped on top. He now works for Butterball Turkey in marketing communications.

Ms. Kobos's English 2 students from Alamance Burlington Early College at ACC participated in Mock Interviews today, building their interview skills which will serve them well down the road. They showcased their poise and professionalism in front of volunteer interviewers from our amazing #ABSSCommunity. 👏
