AVS wishes all our students a great Winter Break! Please enjoy this time with loved ones to recharge! Classes resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Here are some suggestions for students to make sure logging in on the first day back from break goes smoothly:
❄Put your Chromebook and charger where you can find it in January. If you have notebooks/notes/material for classes keep those with your device.
❄Before class on 1/2/2024 check to make sure your device and browser have the most updated software.
❄Be sure you know your login information for Google and Canvas. If you need to write down your email address and other login information to remember them, do that.
❄When the calendar turns to 2024, be sure your device is plugged in to be fully charged as school resumes.

Winter Spirit Week wraps up tomorrow with No Alarm Day! Thursday, December 21, 2023 is NOT a student day, so no alarms are needed to make it to class on time! Thanks to all that participated in our Winter Spirit Week! Enjoy your break!
Join us in celebrating Winter Spirit Week! Wednesday, December 20, 2023 will be Pajamas Day. Most students will be wearing them as their "Winter Break Uniform," so they get a head start!
AVS Winter Spirit Week continues on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Seasonal Hat Day is your day to show off your stocking caps, Santa hats, ski hats, cossacks, trapper hats, pom pom hats and the like 🎅
Join us for Spirit Week December 18-21, 2023. We are even asking everyone to participate on the first day of the students' Winter Break 😉 12/18: Sweats/Sweater Day, 12/19 Seasonal Hat Day, 12/20 PJ Day, and 12/21 No Alarm Day (since it is the students' first day of break) ❄
AVS is participating in Give a Kid a Coat. Please donate your gently used or outgrown coats. Now through January 19, 2024 drop off coats at our AVS Main Office. Coats will be cleaned and mended at A Cleaner World and distributed by the Salvation Army.
