Recently, we have seen an increase in students bringing squishy toys and similar items to school. As a reminder, toys, trading cards, and electronic devices are not permitted. These items are becoming a distraction during instruction, on the bus, and at recess, particularly as students trade and play with them.
If these items are brought to school and used, they will be confiscated by staff and turned in to the main office. Parents will need to schedule a time to retrieve any collected items.

Tonight, May 7th at 6pm, the 4th grade and music club students will host a Global Benefit Concert where the local wildlife rescue “Holly’s Nest” will present a bird show. The founder of Holly’s nest will bring a live bird for his presentation. After the presentation, each group will perform songs related to animals. Students will accept donations of dog, cat, and baby food the night of the concert. Bring cash for the dollar art raffle, last year there were over 20 winners!
Friday Staff Appreciation at AWE: All staff members are being given a vase. Please bring in a stemmed flower, a handmade flower, or picture to brighten their day. *Consider sending in an extra one for students to gift other staff as well!
