One-Way Traffic: The bus entrance shared with AM Eagles Nest parents in the morning is a strict one-way street. Please do not attempt to turn around or exit back onto HWY-119 through this lane.
Bus Safety: Never pull out in front of a school bus that has its lights flashing or stop arm extended.
Beat the Traffic: To avoid bus congestion, we recommend dropping your child off before 7:10 AM.

Important Date Correction: 5th Grade DC Trip Parent Meeting
Please note that our mandatory parent meeting for the 5th Grade DC trip is THIS Thursday, October 29th, at 6:00 PM in the cafeteria. (Please disregard the incorrect date previously listed in the Weekly Update.)
Attendance is required for at least one parent/guardian of every student attending the trip. If you have any questions, please reach out directly to the 5th grade team.

It's National School Lunch Week and we want to say thank you to our School Nutrition Staff who prepare and serve meals throughout the day in all our schools! As you can see here, Connie and Kali over at Alexander Wilson Elementary were serving students, staff, and visitors their choice of regular or spicy chicken bites, macaroni and cheese, roasted broccoli, corn, apple sauce, and milk option. With trays in hand, Debbie checked them out quickly and they were on their way to enjoy their lunch! It was great to see families visiting and enjoying their lunches, too!

Bus 155 will have a sub driver this afternoon. This may cause minimal delays. Thank you for your patience.
Buses 192, 88 and 53 stops will be impacted this afternoon due to a driver absence. Students will be arriving on bus 88 and 192.
Bus 53 driver is out sick so those students will be picked up between 7:20 and 8am by bus 192.
Bus 88 left at about 2:55. We apologize for the delay.
The PTO would love to see all Eagle Grown-ups at tomorrow's PTO meeting, 6-7PM in the library. Childcare will be provided for school-age children in the gym.
The first 5 grownups will get to pick a small gift to take home to their student. Plus we’re giving each attendee an “exclusive and not for sale” AWE water bottle sticker while supplies last.
