Hello everyone! My name is Mineshia White, and I am EXCITED to begin my first-year teaching experience at Haw River Elementary. I am a native of Jones County, NC, and received my Bachelor's Degree in Public Health Education from North Carolina Central University in May 2022. I have a passion for children and have always enjoyed seeing them explore, learn, and become the children of our future.

Hello, Haw River families and friends. My name is Michelle Becker, and I look forward to meeting you all. I am excited to be a part of the family here at Haw River Elementary School. I am originally from Port Washington, NY. Port Washington is located on Long Island. I graduated from Long Island University with my Bachelor’s in General Education and my Master’s in Special Education at Hofstra University. I am currently working on my National Board Certification. I have been teaching for 23 years now. Last year I worked in the Chatham County School District as an EC teacher, and the other years were all in NY. My most important job in life has been being a mom. I have 16-year-old twins who are about to graduate high school. I have one boy and one girl. I am very proud of them. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to country music. My favorite group of all time is the Oak Ridge boys!! I grew up listening to them, and we have become family. I am very blessed to know them personally and professionally. God has been good to me.
